This statement is based on the guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process—editors, reviewers, authors, and the publisher—are expected to adhere to the following ethical standards.

1. Duties of Editors

  • Ensure fair, unbiased, and timely review and publication of submitted manuscripts.

  • Evaluate manuscripts solely based on their academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope, regardless of the authors' race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political beliefs.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all information related to submitted manuscripts.

  • Prevent conflicts of interest and ensure that decisions are not influenced by personal or financial interests.

  • Take appropriate action when ethical complaints or conflicts arise, including conducting investigations and issuing corrections or retractions if necessary.

2. Duties of Reviewers

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to improve the quality of submitted manuscripts.

  • Maintain confidentiality and not share or use manuscript content for personal advantage.

  • Disclose any conflicts of interest and decline the review if such conflicts exist.

  • Alert the editor if they suspect plagiarism, data fabrication, or other unethical behavior.

3. Duties of Authors

  • Submit original, accurate, and unpublished work that has not been submitted elsewhere.

  • Properly cite and reference all sources and avoid any form of plagiarism.

  • Clearly identify any financial support or conflict of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their work.

  • Cooperate with the editorial team during the review and revision process.

  • Promptly inform the editor if they discover a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work and cooperate in issuing a correction or retraction if needed.

4. Duties of the Publisher

  • Support the editorial team in handling ethical issues and maintaining academic integrity.

  • Ensure that publishing processes are transparent, fair, and in accordance with ethical standards.

  • Provide the necessary tools and resources to prevent and address publication misconduct, including plagiarism detection software.

Allegations of Misconduct

The journal will take reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred. In cases of suspected misconduct (such as plagiarism, falsification, or duplicate publication), the editor will investigate in accordance with COPE guidelines and take appropriate corrective actions, including retraction or removal of the article if necessary.
