All manuscripts submitted to Didaktika Pedagogia: Journal of Education and Religion undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the academic quality and integrity of the publication.

1. Initial Editorial Screening

Upon submission, each manuscript is first reviewed by the editorial team to assess its compliance with the journal's focus, scope, and formatting guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements will be returned to the authors without being sent for peer review.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The double-blind process ensures that:

  • The identity of the reviewers is not disclosed to the authors

  • The identity of the authors is not disclosed to the reviewers

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

  • Originality and contribution to the field

  • Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope

  • Theoretical and methodological rigor

  • Clarity of presentation and academic writing

  • Validity of data and analysis

  • Strength and coherence of the argumentation

  • Appropriateness and accuracy of references

3. Review Outcomes

After the review process, the editorial team will make a decision based on the reviewers’ recommendations, which may fall into one of the following categories:

  • Accepted without revision

  • Accepted with minor revisions

  • Accepted with major revisions (requires re-review)

  • Rejected

Authors will receive anonymized reviewer comments along with the editorial decision.

4. Revision and Resubmission

Authors who are requested to revise their manuscripts must submit the revised version along with a response letter detailing how each reviewer comment was addressed. The revised manuscript may be re-evaluated by the original reviewers if major changes were required.

5. Final Decision and Publication

The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ feedback and the quality of the revisions. Accepted manuscripts will be scheduled for publication in an upcoming issue and subjected to copyediting and layout editing before final publication.

6. Review Timeline

The average review and decision time is approximately 4–8 weeks from the date of submission. However, this may vary depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.

Didaktika Pedagogia is committed to maintaining a fair, objective, and timely peer-review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scholarly work.
