Didaktika Pedagogia: Journal of Education and Religion

Authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to Didaktika Pedagogia: Journal of Education and Religion are required to follow the guidelines below. Manuscripts that do not comply with these instructions may be returned for revision prior to the peer-review process.


1. Manuscript Types Accepted

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles

  • Conceptual Papers

  • Literature Reviews

All submissions must be relevant to the fields of education, religion, or humanity.


2. Language

Manuscripts may be submitted in English. Authors must ensure clarity, grammar accuracy, and academic tone. Non-native English speakers are encouraged to have their manuscripts checked by a professional language editor before submission.


3. Manuscript Structure

Each manuscript should follow this general structure:

a. Title

  • Clear, concise, and informative

  • Written in both the original language and English (if applicable)

b. Author(s)’ Name(s) and Affiliation(s)

  • Full name(s) without title

  • Institutional affiliation(s)

  • Email address (at least one active corresponding author)

c. Abstract

  • Maximum 200 words

  • Written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English

  • Should include: background, objective, method, results, and conclusion

d. Keywords

  • 3 to 5 keywords, separated by semicolons (;)

e. Introduction

  • Background of the study, problem formulation, objectives, and literature review

f. Methods

  • Research design, population/sample, instruments, data collection and analysis

g. Results and Discussion

  • Present findings clearly, supported by tables or figures

  • Interpret results in the context of relevant literature

h. Conclusion

  • Summarize key findings and implications

  • Include suggestions for future research (if relevant)

i. References

  • Must use APA (American Psychological Association) 7th edition style

  • Minimum 15 references (at least 60% from recent journal articles published in the last 10 years)


4. Formatting Guidelines

  • Manuscript length: 5,000–7,000 words, including references

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 spacing

  • Page size: A4, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides

  • Use headings and subheadings consistently


5. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s online submission system

  • Authors must register and log in before submitting

  • During submission, authors will be asked to confirm that the manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere


6. Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process involving at least two reviewers. The final decision rests with the editorial board, based on reviewers' recommendations.


7. Publication and Access

  • The journal is open access and published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0)

  • No article submission or publication charges are applied


8. Plagiarism Policy

All submissions are screened for plagiarism using similarity detection software. Manuscripts with more than 20% similarity (excluding references) will be rejected or returned to the authors for revision.


9. Ethical Considerations

Authors must ensure their research adheres to ethical standards. If applicable, include a statement of ethics approval or informed consent in the manuscript.
