Global Perspectives on Christian Education and Theology (GPCET) welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that align with the journal’s focus on learning and educational values in Christianity. All submissions must follow the guidelines outlined below to ensure a smooth review and publication process.

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Articles should be written in English using clear and academic language.

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system.

  • The length of the manuscript should be 4,000–7,000 words, including references.

2. Manuscript Structure

A standard manuscript should include the following sections:

  • Title (concise, descriptive, and relevant)

  • Abstract (150–250 words; includes purpose, method, results, and conclusion)

  • Keywords (3–5 keywords, separated by commas)

  • Introduction (includes background, research gap, and purpose)

  • Literature Review (if applicable)

  • Methodology

  • Findings / Results

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion (including implications or recommendations)

  • References

3. Formatting

  • Use APA Style (7th Edition) for citations and references.

  • The manuscript should be typed in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, justified alignment.

  • Use headings and subheadings clearly and consistently.

4. Citations and References

  • In-text citations and reference lists must follow APA 7th Edition.

  • Ensure all sources cited in the text are listed in the reference list and vice versa.

  • Minimum of 15 references, with at least 60% from recent journal articles (published in the last 5–10 years).

5. Plagiarism Policy

  • GPCET uses plagiarism detection tools to screen all submissions.

  • Manuscripts must have a similarity index below 20%.

  • Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate rejection.

6. Peer Review Process

  • All submitted manuscripts will undergo double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers.

  • The editorial team reserves the right to reject or request revisions.

  • Review process duration: approximately 4–6 weeks.

7. Publication Fee

  • No Article Processing Charges (APC).
    Publication in GPCET is completely free of charge.

8. Copyright and Licensing

  • Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

9. Submission Checklist

Before submitting, ensure the following:

  • The manuscript follows the formatting and structure guidelines.

  • All authors are listed with correct affiliations and ORCID (if available).
