Publication Ethics
Journal of Christian Pedagogy and Theology (JCPT) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. All parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—must adhere to ethical standards and best practices to ensure the integrity and quality of scholarly communication.
This statement is based on guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
1. Duties of Authors

Authors must submit original work that has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by another journal.

All sources and references must be properly cited. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable.

Authors must ensure the accuracy of their data and clearly state any conflicts of interest or financial support.

If significant errors are discovered after publication, authors are obliged to notify the editor promptly to retract or correct the article.
2. Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for making fair and unbiased publication decisions based solely on the manuscript’s academic merit and its relevance to the journal’s scope.

Editors must ensure that the peer review process is objective, confidential, and free of any conflict of interest.

Editors must take appropriate action when ethical complaints are raised regarding a submitted or published manuscript.
3. Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers must conduct reviews objectively, constructively, and in a timely manner.

Reviewers should identify any potential ethical issues, such as plagiarism or duplicate publication.

Reviewers must treat the manuscript as a confidential document and must not use any information obtained during the review process for personal advantage.

Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence their evaluation.
4. Duties of the Publisher

The publisher, CV. Didaktika Edukasi Nusantara, is responsible for overseeing the editorial process and ensuring that ethical practices are followed.

The publisher works closely with the editorial team to prevent malpractice and to promote academic integrity and transparency in publishing.
