Screening for Plagiarism Policy
The International Transformative Education and Humanities Journal (ITEHJ) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. To uphold these standards, all submitted manuscripts undergo a thorough plagiarism screening prior to peer review.
1. Plagiarism Detection Tools
Manuscripts are checked using reliable plagiarism detection software to identify:
-
Direct copying of text
-
Inadequate citation or paraphrasing
-
Duplicate publication or self-plagiarism
2. Author Responsibility
Authors must ensure that their submissions are:
-
Original works, not published elsewhere
-
Properly cited and referenced
-
Free from any form of plagiarism
Failure to adhere to these standards will result in manuscript rejection or withdrawal.
3. Consequences of Plagiarism
If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process, the following actions may be taken:
-
Immediate rejection of the manuscript
-
Notification to the authors’ institutions or funding bodies
-
Retraction of published articles if plagiarism is discovered post-publication
-
Banning authors from submitting to ITEHJ for a defined period
4. Ethical Commitment
ITEHJ follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding plagiarism and publication misconduct. The journal expects all contributors to uphold ethical research and publishing practices.
