Archiving Policy
The International Transformative Education and Humanities Journal (ITEHJ) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published content.
1. Digital Archiving
ITEHJ utilizes digital archiving systems to preserve its content and protect against loss or damage. All articles published in the journal are archived and stored in multiple formats and platforms to ensure enduring access.
The journal participates in or is supported by the following archiving practices:
-
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
-
CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
-
PKP PN (Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network)
-
Institutional Repositories (authors are encouraged to deposit their articles)
These systems ensure that even in the case of a journal website failure, the content remains accessible through partner libraries and archive services.
2. Self-Archiving by Authors
Authors are permitted and encouraged to:
-
Deposit the published version (Version of Record) of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic social networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu).
-
Provide a full-text version in public archives, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original source and a link to the published version on the ITEHJ website is included.
3. Article Permanence
Once published, articles remain permanently accessible on the journal's website and in archiving repositories. ITEHJ does not remove published articles unless required for legal or ethical reasons (e.g., proven plagiarism, copyright infringement, or serious data falsification).
