Authors are encouraged to submit original, high-quality manuscripts that are relevant to the journal’s scope. Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your manuscript.

1. Manuscript Types

ITEHJ accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Research Articles: Original research studies with significant findings in the areas of Social Sciences, Education, and Humanities.

  • Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews of existing literature and developments in specific fields.

  • Conceptual Papers: Papers that present new theoretical frameworks or address critical theoretical issues.

  • Short Communications: Brief reports on emerging trends, preliminary findings, or other relevant topics.

2. Manuscript Submission

  • Submission Method: All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Please create an account or log in to submit your manuscript.

  • File Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

  • Language: Manuscripts should be written in English. If you wish to submit in Indonesian, please consult the editorial team first.

  • Word Count:

    • Research Articles: 4,000 - 7,000 words (including references)

    • Review Articles: 5,000 - 8,000 words (including references)

    • Short Communications: 2,000 - 3,000 words (including references)

  • Abstract and Keywords: An abstract of 150-250 words is required for all manuscripts. Authors should also provide 3-5 keywords that represent the content of the paper.

3. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:

  1. Title Page: Include the title of the manuscript, names of authors, affiliations, corresponding author’s contact details, and ORCID (if available).

  2. Abstract: A concise summary of the manuscript’s main objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

  3. Keywords: Provide 3-5 keywords that best describe the subject of the paper.

  4. Introduction: Provide context, objectives, and the significance of the research.

  5. Literature Review: Summarize relevant previous studies and theoretical background (if applicable).

  6. Methodology: Describe the methods used for data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

  7. Results and Discussion: Present the main findings and discuss their implications.

  8. Conclusion: Summarize the key findings and suggest directions for future research.

  9. References: List all references cited in the manuscript. Follow the APA (7th edition) citation style.

4. Citation and Referencing Style

All references must be formatted according to the APA (7th edition) citation style. Please ensure that your references are consistent and correct. In-text citations and the reference list must follow APA formatting guidelines. For more detailed guidance, please refer to the APA Manual.

5. Ethical Considerations

  • Plagiarism: All submitted manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism. Authors must ensure that their work is original and properly referenced.

  • Authorship: Only individuals who have contributed significantly to the research should be listed as authors. All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript.

  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could affect the manuscript.

6. Peer Review Process

  • Double-Blind Peer Review: All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Both the identities of the authors and reviewers are kept confidential.

  • Review Timeline: Authors will be notified of the initial decision (accept, revise, or reject) within 4-6 weeks of submission.

  • Revisions: If revisions are requested, authors must submit a revised manuscript along with a detailed response to reviewers’ comments.

7. Copyright and Open Access
