All manuscripts submitted to the International Transformative Education and Humanities Journal (ITEHJ) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of the content before publication.

1. Initial Screening

Upon submission, each manuscript is first evaluated by the editorial team to determine:

  • Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope

  • Adherence to the author guidelines

  • Compliance with ethical standards (including plagiarism screening)

Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned to the author for revision or rejected without external review.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review

Eligible manuscripts are sent to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. In the double-blind process:

  • Authors' identities are concealed from the reviewers

  • Reviewers' identities are concealed from the authors

Reviewers are expected to assess the manuscript based on:

  • Originality and significance of the contribution

  • Clarity and coherence of the argument

  • Methodological rigor and appropriateness

  • Theoretical and practical implications

  • Quality of references and citations

  • Language, structure, and presentation

3. Review Outcomes

Based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the editorial team will make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revision

  • Accept with minor revisions

  • Revise and resubmit (major revisions required)

  • Reject

Authors will receive the review results along with constructive feedback for revision (if applicable).

4. Revision Process

  • Authors are expected to submit the revised manuscript along with a response letter detailing how the reviewers' comments were addressed.

  • Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for a second evaluation, especially if major changes were required.

5. Final Decision

The final decision on manuscript acceptance is made by the Editor-in-Chief or the Editorial Board, based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the quality of revisions submitted.

6. Timeframe

The peer review process typically takes 4 to 6 weeks, but this may vary depending on reviewer availability and the complexity of the manuscript.
