Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Talking Stick learning model in enhancing students’ learning activeness in the Christian Religious Education subject for Grade XII at SMK Negeri 1 Balige. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that the application of the Talking Stick learning model successfully created an active and engaging learning atmosphere. Students became more confident, courageous in expressing their opinions, and more enthusiastic in participating in the learning process. Therefore, the Talking Stick learning model is effective in improving students’ learning activeness in the Christian Religious Education subject.
